Despite wearing a waking boot after the Bulldogs 45-31 win over the Kentucky Wildcats last weekend , Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott assured fans that it was only a precautionary measure and that he will be ready to lead his team against the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday.

Prescott took some big hits against the Wildcats and was sacked three times. However, he was still force to be reckoned with as he completed 18 of 33 pass attempts for 216 yards and one touchdown while also rushing for 88 yards and two touchdowns as well.

It’s nothing really … I’m wearing the walking boot for fashion,” The Heisman candidate said Tuesday. “Nothing there, nothing to see, nothing to worry about. I’ll be ready to play. Like I said, it’s nothing serious. So I’ll be ready to go, ready to lead my team out there Saturday.”

The 21-year-old Junior has led the Bulldogs to the number one ranking in college football despite the team not even being ranked in Top 25 before the start of the season. He has thrown for 1694 yards and 15 touchdowns while completing 60.3% of his pass attempts in seven games this season.  He also has been a big threat on the ground, running for 664 yards and 10 touchdowns on 124 attempts.
