The Penn State Nittany  Lions got off to a great start to the season as they won their first four games but, the tide has turned for them as they have lost the last four games, including the last three at home. Last week, they fell 20-19 to Maryland on a late 43 yard field goal by Brad Craddock.  The Nittany Lions drove down the field late in the fourth quarter to go up 19-17 but, were unable to hold the lead.  Penn State turned over the ball three times which really cost them in this game.  Quarterback Christian Hackenberg threw for 177 yards, one touchdown and one interception.  The team`s defense has been stellar this season as it ranks 9th in the nation in points allowed per game. It will have to be at its best this week against the Indiana Hoosiers who blew the Lions last year by 20 points.

The Indiana Hoosiers lost their third straight game last week as they fell to the Michigan Wolverines 34-10.  Once again , the Hoosiers passing attack was non-factor as quarterback Zander Diamont threw for only 24 yards and zero touchdowns. The team relied heavily on the ground attack which only produced 167 yards , 100 yards shy of their season average. Running back Tevin Coleman ran for 108 yards on 27 carries but , did not find the end zone.  This week, the Hoosiers are going up against a tough Penn State defense which only 17 points per game.  The Hoosiers will have to get the passing game going or else this will game will not be close.
