UAB Blazers vs Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Pick and Prediction – Week 11

The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs cruised past the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers 59-10 last week at home. The Bulldogs offense did turn over the ball on three occasions but, was still able to put up 507 yards of total offense. Quarterback Cody Sokol completed 30 of 42 pass attempts for 335 yards, five touchdowns and one interception.    The offense also notched 30 first downs and converted on 7 of their 13 third down attempts.  The defense has been suspect this season but, playd well in this game as it forced five turnovers, including four interceptions.  With the win, the Bulldogs remained unbeaten in their conference but, face a tough matchup this week against the UAB Blazers.

The UAB Blazers return home after playing their last three games on the road against Middle Tennessee, Arkansas and Florida Atlantic. The finish the trip on a positive note as they defeated Florida Atltantic 31-28 to snap their two game losing streak.  The Blazers almost blew a big lead as they let the Owls rally back from 21 point deficit. The Owls tied the game at 28-28 with less than four minutes left in the game but, the Blazers connected on a 24 yard field as time expired to escape with the win.  Running back Jordan Howard had a big game for the Blazers as he ran for 167 yards and two touchdowns on 35 carries. The team will need him to replicate that performance against the Bulldogs if they stand a chance at pulling off the upset. The Blazers have played well at home and have the potential to be first team in the conference to beat the Bulldogs.

Betting consensus: The line opened at -4 for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs but, it has not moved even with the 80% of the Public pounding them.
