The Sacramento Kings were once again buried by the Golden State Warriors 121-96 but, this time around, it was in front of their own fans at Sleep Train Arena. The Kings had no answers defensively for the Warriors who shot 51% from the field and 44% from beyond the arc.   The Warriors got off to a fast start in the game as they built a double digit deficit lead in the early moments of the game and never looked back.   It is very disappointing to see the Kings struggled this bad despite the talent they have on the roster with the likes of Rudy Gay, DeMarcus Cousins, Darren Collison and Ben McLemore. While we know they can score, the problem is on the defensive end as they allow on average of 104.6 points per game which ranks them among the worst teams in the league.  If they Kings want to avoid another loss at home, they will have to tighten up defensively against the Dallas Mavericks who rank 2nd in the league in offense.

The Dallas Mavericks got off to a fast start last night against the Golden State Warriors on the road as they build a double digit lead early in the game. However, the Mavs were unable to hold the lead and dropped the game 128-114. Fatigue was definitely an issue as the team collapsed in the fourth quarter and was unable to generate any offense. Dirk Nowitzki and Monta Ellis only combined for a total of 29 points and struggled shooting the ball.  This Dallas team is very talented on the offensive end but, defensively,  it is a disaster.  The Mavs need to get stops and play consistently on both ends of the floor if they want to compete for a championship.  It will be very interesting to see how they respond against Sacramento.

Betting consensus: The Line is set a -3 in favor of the Dallas Mavericks.

Prediction: Sacramento Kings 113 , Dallas Mavericks 98

Pick:  Sacramento Kings +3
