Janko Tipsarevic took care of business in his last match as he defeated American Jack Sock in four sets 3-6 7-6 6-1 6-2. He lost the first set but, came back to dominated the match after as he cruised past the last two sets. He will now face 4th ranked Spaniard David Ferrer in the fourth round at the 2013 US Open.  Furthermore, David Ferrer beat Mikhail Kukushkin in four sets as well 6-4 6-3 4-6 6-4 and will be looking to repeat his performance against Tipsarevic who has struggled against him. Ferrer and Tipsarevic have played against each other five times and Ferrer has five of them, including the last three. They met last year at the 2012 Us Open at this venue and the match went down to the fifth set in which Ferrer come out on top via tiebreak to win the match and move in the tournament. Ferrer also called out TIpsarevic for breaking his momentum as Tipsarevic called for an injury break and after that stormed back to win the 4th set. Ferrer has a great year on hard court as he is 21-6 on the surface while the Serbian Janko Tipsarevic is 14-7. Ferrer has dominated Tipsarevic and considering their present form , Ferrer should  not have any problems to beat TIpsarevic again.
