Number one seed Novak Djokovic will play against Mikhail Youzhny in the quarterfinals at the 2013 US Open. Novak Djokovic is playing well and looks  he may win his  second grand slam of  the year. He has cruised pas his opponents throughout this tournament and has yet to drop a set in the whole competition. In his previous match, it really seemed like he was playing around with Marcel Granollers as the Serbian only dropped three games through the whole match as he won 6-3 6-0 6-0. On the other hand, Youzhny has played some tough opponents as he as beaten Alexandr Dolgopolov, Tommy Haas and in his previous match, he came back  to beat Lleyton Hewitt in a five set match. Both of the players have met  8 times in their career and Djokovic has won of them. The last time they met was this year at the tournament in Monte-Carlo 4-6 6-1 6-4. Djokovic is also a much better player than Youzhny on hard court and at this moment, he really is in great form to dominate Mikhail Youzhny and move on to the semifinals.

Thus, the prediction and pick for Novak Djokovic vs Mikhail Youzhny for 2013 US Open is:

Novak Djokovic to win 3-0
