69th ranked Ukrainian Sergiy Stakhovsky will play 56th ranked Russian Mikhail Youzhny in the second round of the 2015 Zagreb tournament.  The Russian is coming off a tough three set win over Blaz Kavcic 6-3 1-6 6-4 in the first round while Stakhovsky cruised past Borna Coric in straight sets in his first match of the event.  Both of these players know each other well as they have played against each other four times with Youzhny leading the series 3-1. They last met in 2012 at this tournament where the Russian cruised to a straight sets victory 6-4 7-6.

No player really holds a big edge over one another as this match is really a toss-up.  The Russian is 0-2 on hard surfaces this year on the tour while the Ukrainian is 2-3.  It is a tough call but, Sergiy Stakhovsky should be able to pull away with the win and move on to the next round in Croatia.

Prediction: 6-4 6-3 in favor of Sergiy Stakhovsky

Pick: Sergiy Stakhovsky ML
