Stanislas Wawrinka really played in his last match as he was able to upset Tomas Berdych 3-6 6-1 7-6 6-2. Wawrinka held serve and really took his opportunities to break his opponent.  Wawrinka will now have another  tough match as he will defending Champion Andy Murray  in the quarterfinals at the 2013 US Open.  Andy Murray was tested in his last match  as he did lose the first set via tiebreak but, he quickly regrouped and stormed back to dominate Denis Istomin to win the match 6-7 6-1 6-4 6-4. Furthermore, Andy Murray and Stanislas Wawrinka know each other well as they have met 13 times already.  Murray  lead the head to head series 8-5 , but lost their last match this year at Monte –Carlo where Stanislas Wawrinka cruised passed him in straight sets 6-1 6-2. Both of these players have played well in the tournament and in great form. Also, after  looking at their past matches on hard court, this match will not be easy for neither player. In the end, Murray should move on to the next round and but he will really be challenged by Stanislas Wawrinka who does have the skills and game to pull of the upset.
